Hi there! I'm Rebecca. I'm really glad you're here.
You'd think that more than 22 years of yoga would teach you something about dealing with stress. Indeed it has. But little did I know my own self-care routines were about to be seriously tested when 2020 arrived.
My bones were starting to ache and I was experiencing more knee and shoulder pain (not a thing in my 30's. Thanks stress!) I needed a better way to work out (and work in) so that my body and mind didn't unravel as I got older.
Plus, even though I was home all the time during the pandemic, I was oddly busier than ever. You'd think more time would be available with less commuting and running around. Indeed not. Finding "me time" was challenging with all the home distractions. An hour long class just wasn't happening.
I started experimenting with short workout sessions - even as little as 10 minutes a day. And BOOM! Right away I was feeling a difference in my strength, my energy and my stability. And my stress was slowly dissipating.
That's what inspired me to put this program together. People need digestible, effective yoga practices that fit into their schedule. So I put together all the important themes of Strength, Stability and Stress Relief into this collection of videos so you can get your yoga done and carry on with what's important - your life!
I know this stuff works. Because it's helped me through hard times too.
Rebecca Bly is a Registered Yoga Teacher and has been teaching since 2006. She trained in Vinyasa Yoga style and draws inspiration from Shiva Rea, Cyndi Lee, Sadie Nardini and Tara Brach.

NEW TO YOGA?
While this course is not specifically a beginner's course in yoga, and the practices are short, you'll not hear as many detailed explanations on some of the foundational poses like cat and cow, downdog and warrior 2. But if you're open to learning, willing to take your time and pay attention to your body, this practice is a great gateway into becoming a consistent yoga practitioner.
BEEN A WHILE?
I'm 40. My yoga is NOT like it was when I began at 16. I appreciate what happens to the body as it ages and how we have to care for it differently. The average age of my students is about 50. These videos are designed to safely work into intensity, with care and intelligence and avoid wear, injury and carelessness. Take your time. Ease in. Enjoy how good a child's pose can feel when it's been so long.
IS THIS SAFE FOR ME?
My first rule of yoga is: Listen to your body. If you have injuries or conditions, it's up to you to care for them. If you don't know how to modify, no problem - do what feels good, or write me! I'd love to help. Can you be on your hands and knees comfortably? Can you sit cross legged on the floor for a few minutes? Can you put your head lower to the ground than your heart (like in downward dog)? Then I think you'll enjoy these videos.
Yoga taught simply. In practical, tangible terms. Nothing woo or confusing.
