Hi! I’m Rebecca your Forever Strong Guide. I’m 43.
I get it. I feel you. My wake-up call was four years ago.
I was doing something I absolutely loved – surfing – when my completely-normal right knee betrayed me. I was paddling into a wave and despite its sheer size (and my terror), I went for it. And I made it! Until I didn't...when my knee failed, and I fell.
I got lucky that time. And I was back on my board four months later, but I couldn’t understand what happened. What caused my knee to fail? Why couldn’t my body handle it?
It’s a simple answer my forties friend. It’s STRENGTH.
Bones hit their peak strength in your thirties and my injury was right on schedule. I was a yoga fanatic and loved to surf, but I wasn’t strong enough to withstand that overhead wave.
Now my exercise routine focuses on one thing above all others: getting stronger. It’s been a challenging shift since I love doing different types of exercises and movement. But I desperately wanted to keep doing things I love to do – surfing, playing with my dog or craning my neck for hours looking for birds through heavy binoculars.

Frequently Asked Questions
Classes are at the same day and time each week for eight weeks. They are 75-minutes. Half that time will be spent moving and the other half discussion. All the group calls are recorded and sent out within 24 hours. While you may miss some participation and camaraderie, you can certainly catch up on the content and in the community page.
